EMtool – another ImageJ/FIJI plugin for electron microscopists

Finally, here is my one tiny contribution to the Electron Microscopy community – a set of ImageJ/FIJI plugins for electron microscope image analysis. These plugins are now available for download directly from FIJI updater by selecting the EMtool update site.

I have prepared a detailed walkthrough on how to install and how to use on the ImageJ wiki site https://imagej.net/IMBalENce. However, as of now the whole ImageJ wiki is down for maintenance. You may check out the page when it is back in service again. [Update 2020/09/18, due to security issues, the complete ImageJ wiki site is in read-only mode, and hopefully will be migrated to a new system soon.]

To keep the new features up-to-date, I have moved all existing instruction pages to my new instructions page (click the link or navigate from top menu bar) . Currently the plugin supports reading metadata and autoscale for FEI(Thermo fisher), JOEL, ZEISS SEM images (TIFF format with embedded tags), and folder export TIA .ser, Gatan .dm3 TEM image files with scale info. More instructions and supports for TESCAN and Hitachi SEM are in progress.
